RAD Extends Wireless Reach with Integrity in New Distribution Agreement

31st August 2004: RAD Data Communications, an industry-leading manufacturer of unique carrier-class access solutions, has appointed wireless communications specialist distributor Integrity Data Systems to extend the reach of its AirMux wireless solutions in Australia.

RAD's AirMux range of wireless multiplexers will enable Integrity Data Systems to deliver point-to-point wireless solutions with double the throughput at existing prices. Integrity recognises that AirMux's ease of installation and improved return on investment will satisfy an area of demand that has boomed during the past year.

Point-to-point wireless solutions are increasingly popular as alternatives to short-haul leased lines where corporate and government organisations seek to operate multi-site computer networks without the prohibitive recurring costs of leased lines from Telstra.

RAD Data Australia General Manager Udi Furman said Integrity Data Systems would assist RAD to respond more directly to the needs of the local market. "The new distribution agreement, effective from September, will enable RAD to expand into previously unexplored markets," he said. "We will work through Integrity Data’s broad network of trained partners across the country to target new markets and deliver innovative wireless solutions."

Integrity Data Systems CEO Ross Chiswell said the RAD AirMux products would meet a rapidly increasing need in the Australian marketplace. "We’ve sold hundreds of similar products during the past year," he said. "The ability of AirMux to deliver twice the throughput at the same price will enable our resellers to offer wireless solutions that have a much faster return on investment."
