RAD’s FCD family of T1 access and E1 access multiservice network termination units (NTUs) extends the E1 and T1 network to the customer premises, converging multiple services over a single, compact platform. This enables carriers and service providers to create a flexible, service-independent access model while offering a wide service portfolio.

In addition to an E1 or a T1 uplink, FCD units are available with built-in SHDSL, HDSL or fiber optic modems. They are controlled from a single management platform. Specific models are available in desktop standalone, 19” rack shelf, or card-in-rack configurations.
