RAD’s Egate-20 Ethernet over E1/T1 gateway has eight fully channelized E1/T1 ports, supporting up to 256 channels. (The Egate-100 Channelized Ethernet over STM-1/OC-3 gateway supports up to 512 channels). This is coupled with RAD’s RICi-E1/T1 intelligent converters or FCD family of multiservice routers and bridged multiservice network termination units.

Cost-efficient alternative to using more expensive and complex combination of channelized routers (for the central site) and access routers.
