RAD Participates in Multi-Vendor Interoperability Test at MPLS & Ethernet World Congress

February 3, 2010 - RAD Data Communications will participate in the multi-vendor Interoperability Showcase organized by the European Advanced Networking Test Center (EANTC) at the MPLS and Ethernet World Congress 2010 in Paris.

The Interoperability Showcase is a multi-vendor network that follows a two-week hot staging process at EANTC’s Berlin laboratories. RAD access solutions are being used to demonstrate a number of important components of the network. Leading vendors will showcase interoperability of their MPLS and Carrier Ethernet solutions. The test network will focus on the latest advances in the industry including IP/MPLS-based multicast and IPTV services, along with IP/MPLS and optical integration. Mobile backhaul over packet switched networks will be tested, including packet-based clocking and synchronous Ethernet. In addition, OAM solutions, including MPLS-TP OAM and Ethernet performance monitoring tools, will also be tested.
